Mark your calendars now for the 2019 Oktoberfest, taking place September 27-29th

A longtime Dayton tradition, Oktoberfest is the museum's largest annual fundraiser and vital to everything we do at The Dayton Art Institute.

Oktoberfest features family activities, outstanding artisans, live entertainment throughout the weekend,delicious food, a Weingarten, and, of course, an amazing selection of more than 40 different craft and international beers.

Oktoberfest includes a fully covered Main Stage area and Food Court, and a “TV Cave” with four big-screen TVs for all the weekend football action.will be featured in the food tent and on the main stage. Two large tents feature more than 60 artisans, including many who are new to Oktoberfest. The returns on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, noon - 4:30 p.m. each day, with special activities for all ages in the museum and on the grounds near the museum entrance.

Lederhosen Lunch: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Preview Party: 7:00 - 11:00 p.m.

Oktoberfest - Saturday: Noon - 11:30 p.m.

Oktoberfest - Sunday: Noon - 7:00 p.m.

Oktoberfest General Admission (Saturday & Sunday)

Advance Tickets: $8 adults; $5 seniors (60+) & youth (7-18)

At the Gate: $10 adults; $7 seniors & youth

Children 6 and under admitted free

Oktoberfest pre-sale tickets may be purchased at the following locations through the close of business on Friday, September 27: Arrow Wine (Centerville and Kettering locations), Dorothy Lane Market (all locations) Ghostlight Coffee (Wayne Avenue location), Jerardi’s Little Store, Yellow Springs Hardware and Old Scratch Pizza.
