Awwww my bff's birthday is today!  Her name is Debbie Mitchell and she is the sweetest thing you'd ever want to meet.  I met Debbie when I was in a tough spot in my life (just lost Shooter) and going through some other bad things and she helped me through it all and today we are the best of buds :) 

Debbie is one of those people who lights up the room as soon as she enters.  She is kind, considerate, funny, responsible, fun to be around, and outside of my Mother in law is the least selfish person I know. (It might be a tie there) 

We are both devoted Rick Springfield fans and I hope one day she will join me on one of the Rick vacations because no one deserves to go more than she does!!!! In August we finally got to go to a RS concert together for the first time and had a blast.  My bday gift to her was to arrange this:

Isn't she gorgeous??  Oh, and yeah...he's not too shabby either ;)

Even when the new cd came out somehow fate put our names close together on the credit list for sending in backup vocals for his song "I hate myself"!
