He may not be back! MARIA SHRIVER has hired divorce lawyer Laura Wasser. However, sources say Maria hasn't decided if she wants to pull the plug on her marriage to ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER just yet and she actually retained Wasser before news of the affair went public.
CHRIS MEDINA was the early sentimental favorite on AMERICAN IDOL. You may recall that Chris auditioned in Milwaukee, bringing along his brain-injured fiancee, whom he’s been taking care of. There were tears all around, but Chris didn't make the top 24. Still, Jimmy Iovine set Chris up with the song "What Are Words" and rushed it onto iTunes the day after his elimination episode aired. However, the Idol folks apparently have short memories as Chris Tweeted: "Just found out I will not be at the finale for American Idol…sad and disappointed." When one of his followers Tweeted back inquiring why, Chris replied, "not asked. Then I asked for tickets and I [was] told they can't."

I think that's a train wreck and I feel bad for his two little kids because they're the bodies being pulled out of the train wreck. What's going to happen to them? But everybody thinks it's a joke. Joining the regrettable tattoo club is HAYDEN PANETTIERE, who got the phrase "live without regrets," inked on her back in Italian. She says it’s to remind herself that everyone deals with disappointment and rejection. While you’d think that would be easy enough to remember without a tattoo, it turns out the Italian tattoo artist committed one little typo and the tat actually reads, 'I love apples'. Hayden is now warning people not to go under the needle in a foreign country. The Office star Ed Helms will host the May 14th episode of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE with musical guest Paul Simon. The musical guest when Tina Fey hosts on May 7th will be British singer Ellie Goulding. Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga will do the season finale on May 21st. Today’s celebrity whizzing match is between DONALD TRUMP and JERRY SEINFELD. It seems Seinfeld backed out of doing a charity benefit for St. Jude’s Hospital hosted by Trump’s son, Eric. A rep for Seinfeld says that Jerry has grown increasingly uncomfortable with Trump’s rhetoric, particularly in questioning President Obama’s citizenship. Trump fired back in a letter to Seinfeld saying, “We don’t care that you broke your commitment…What I do feel badly about is that I agreed to do, and did, your failed show, ‘The Marriage Ref,’ even though I thought it was absolutely terrible and was embarrassed after having watched the first couple of episodes. Despite its poor ratings, I didn’t cancel on you like you canceled on my son and St. Jude. I only wish I did. You should be ashamed of yourself!” In any case, Seinfeld is making contributions to both the Eric Trump Foundation and St. Jude’s Hospital.
